Aiming to be the most comprehensive virtual longitudinal & disease dataset for Han Chinese

Our mission

To fill in the gap of Asian genomic data and provide better solutions for precision medicine for the Asian population.

Our Offer in Taiwan

Healthy Aging Longitudinal Study Taiwan (HALST)

  • NHRI project
  • A long-term follow-up cohort aiming at identifying determinants and correlation with aging and aging related chronic diseases.
  • Since 2009, HALST has recruited 5,000 community-dwellers aged 55+ with a 15-year clinical tracking record.
  • NHRI and PDC4PM have been sequencing over 2000+ consented HALST sample and integrated the data into ADB.
  • Upcoming HALST 2.0 aiming to recruit 20,000 samples.

Disease Cohort

  • Integrate existing research projects in Taiwan and seek for co-R&D opportunities
  • Work with 16 partner hospitals across Taiwan to categorize over 300,000 collected samples by diseases.
  • CKD, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Breast Cancer, and HCC are our research priorities.
  • Genomic data and clinical data integration
Our Approach

Legal-binding Partnership

  • Leveraging public-private partnerships with population health studies or existing cohort studies.

Global Collaboration

  • Serving as contract research organizations (CROs) for sample collection, phenotype data management, and logistics for global pharmaceutical companies interested in Asian population drug discoveries.

Gateway to Asia

  • Partnering with other biobanks in Asia, we help our clients or partners access the datasets and experts in other major Asian countries seamlessly.

Application
